“The achievement of holistic health, that of the mind, body, and spirit, is a continual process of refinement that is not an easy one as we all move through the business of life. The care of one’s self requires support and guidance from others whom we can trust to provide us with that guidance and support. It is my pleasure to be involved in the provision of care and guidance to those I am given the opportunity to work with.”

Biography

Beth, a native of Northern Virginia, grew up in the Chantilly area. Her first career was in quality management for communications companies where she worked to establish continual improvement in both services and customer satisfaction. During this time, she also managed the care of an ill family member and developed a desire to attend nursing school.

As a registered nurse, Beth worked in the emergency room and intensive care units as well as hospice and home health nursing. She spent four years in case management at Inova Fairfax Hospital helping to guide and manage the quality of care for patients and their families through their hospital stays and with discharge and community care planning. After more than ten years of nursing, Beth returned to graduate school and completed the Family Nurse Practioner program at Shenandoah University. She has since worked in family practice caring for children and adults with a focus on quality, holistic care.
