Kim Manning, CFNPNurse Practitioner
“I believe that God has placed each patient with me for a reason. I pledge to treat each individual with respect and caring and work together to diagnose and manage their health. Good health is a gift and a blessing. We are not all guaranteed good health or absence of disease. I believe in prayer and a healthy lifestyle combined with modern medical practices to protect the gift of life that we have been given.”

Kim Manning likes spending time with family, pilates, and vegetarian cooking.
After finishing her undergraduate education at Penn State, University Park and Hershey Medical Center she was accepted into a highly competitive postgraduate training position in the intensive care unit at Christiana Hospital in Delaware. She was responsible for recovering open heart surgery patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. After starting a family in 1994 she and her husband moved to Pennsylvania and she became a key health provider in home care and hospice services with Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County. Working in the community focused her desire to become a Nurse practitioner. She later moved to Virginia with her growing family and completed her Master’s degree at GMU while continuing to work in an intensive care unit at Fair Oaks Hospital. She successfully completed her training and has worked for Fairfax family practice centers as a family nurse practitioner for over 15 years.
